Urban Barn's NHS Design Competition: Meet The Celebrity Judges!

Each designer was given a 10x10 booth space at Toronto's National Home Show & a budget of $4,000 to spend at Urban Barn, with the simple instructions to design a room. Each room is a testament to how a talented designer or stager can, within a budget work with Urban Barn's vast products to create an incredible space. We hope these designs inspire you to create your own personal retreat.

Home & Design Expert Build

Ramsin Khachi is a design expert on The Marlyn Denis Show! Ramsin regularly provides Canadians with expert advice in home decor, interior design, and construction.  We're truly excited to have this knowledgeable celeb as one of our design competition judges!

Vicky Sanderson

Columnist, Home Trend Expert, & Upcycler

Vicky Sanderson is a columnist and blogger for the Toronto Star and Reno & Decor Magazine.  Always keeping up-to-date on fresh DIY ideas and great home trends, Vicky's expertise will be very valuable when judging this intense competition.

Glen Peloso

Interior Designer & Television Personality

Glen Peloso is recognized as a design expert on The Marilyn Dennis Show and from his past work as a host/designer of the internationally popular television show Foodnetwork/HGTV`s Restaurant Makeover among others.  We know Glen's eye for great design will be a great help with judging this contest.

Jane Lockhart

Interior Designer

Jane Lockhart is an interior designer, and the television host of the show Colour Confidential.  Jane is an interior designer who provides expert interior solutions for residential and commercial clients across North America.  We're thrilled to have her judging this tough competition!

Janette Ewen

Designer

As an editor of design and lifestyle magazines in Canada (House and Home, Chatelaine & Chocolat) and an international TV personality, Janette has always taken an experiential approach to creativity…"one must live it to create it".  Janette's eye for unique and beautiful decor/design will be perfect for judging these unique spaces.
