FLOORING, NATIONAL HOME SHOW, Ottawa, OTTAWA HOME AND GARDEN SHOW, RE/MAX, REAL ESTATE, REMAX, Toronto No comments
The excitement is definitely building as we await our TWO Ontario home shows. We’re putting the finishing touches on our National Home Show in Toronto and our Ottawa Home & Garden Show, both proudly presented by RE/MAX.
With RE/MAX on our side, we’ve been given access to some fantastic tips on both buying and selling homes! Today, we’re hitting the floors, as RE/MAX shares with us why flooring, can be very important.
Flooring: Why It’s Important When Selling
- When it comes to flooring, always consider the following:
- The flooring reveals to potential buyers how well a home has been maintained
- Flooring is a top feature that buyers look for, invest in your flooring before putting your house on the market
- Consult with your RE/MAX agent on whether or not your carpet should be replaced or cleaned
- If there is hardwood under your carpet, consider exposing it as a selling feature
- If your floors are dated, worn, stained, or damaged, take the initiative to replace them and you be able to showcase a well-maintained home!
