Here at Marketplace Events, we're definitely in the holiday spirit! So it is no surprise that when it came time to feature some amazing holiday recipes, they came pouring in from all over the office. First up, a delicious and creative appetizer idea from Cristina in our Toronto office.
The Supplies
- 1 Container of Bocconcini Cheese Balls (depending on the size of party you're hosting)
- 1 Large Carrot
- 1 Jar of Black Olives (Pitted)
- Wooden Toothpicks
The Directions
1. Cut each cheese ball into 4 quarters.
2. Slice the carrot into quarter-size circles and cut out a triangular notch to make the carrot slice look like penguin feet. Be sure to save the triangle bit for the penguin beak.
3. Make a slit in one olive and slide in a cheese quarter.
4. Put the triangular piece of carrot into another olive to create the penguin head.
5. Insert a toothpick directly down the middle of all pieces to create a delicious and unique penguin appetizer!
