OPENING NIGHT @ THE BC HOME + GARDEN SHOW

Calling all homeowners, DIY enthusiasts, passionate foodies and chefs alike – the wait is finally over! After months of preparation, the highly-anticipated BC Home + Garden Show opens tomorrow night at BC Place with an evening planned especially with the ladies in mind. The night kicks off at 6PM with the SHAW Cooking with Fire Chili Cook-off, where three firefighter duos from will concoct their best chili recipe in hot pursuit of bragging rights and a $1,000 donation to the community organization of their choice. Hosted by SHAW’s Melanie Pineda and Global BC’s Kaitlyn Herbst, and judged by a noteworthy panel of foodies, you can bet this is one competition that’s bound to get heated!

Then don’t miss your chance to cool down with Ladies Like Beer Too! – a ladies-only beer tasting seminar presented by Just Here for the Beer at 7:30PM that will have you embracing the brew like never before.
