Ohio Valley Group Awarded for Garden Featured at Great Big Home and Garden Show

Congratulations to The Ohio Valley Group on winning the 'National Landscape Grand Award of Excellence' and the coveted 'Judges Award' from PLANET (Professional Landcare Network). 

Awarded for it's Edward Scissorhands feature garden (above) at our Great Big Home + Garden Show in Cleveland, the Ohio Valley Group kept with the theme of the movie and wowed show guests and experts.  

"The focal point of the garden was the large topiary hand in the center.  The topiary featured an arch of water arching well over the gravel path and the heads of the visitors to the garden, ending in an aged Kentucky whiskey barrel.  The garden contained numerous large topiaries including a deer, giraffe and dancing bear.  The metaphorically dark sense of the garden was achieved through the extensive use of evergreens and a row of large arborvitae created a sense of mystery about the garden.  The gravel path through the garden accented the dark plant material." - Ohio Valley Group (www.ohiovalleygroup.com)
