Calgary Home + Garden Show Spring Sneak Peek

Enhance your home, inside and out! The 34th annual Calgary Home + Garden Show will up the home improvement ante with seminars and live demos from Calgary's horticulture and landscaping pros, plus more than 650 local exhibitors. Take a peek at some of our top features slated to hit the BMO Centre & Corral, Stampede Park, from February 26 - March 1, 2015.

Home + Garden Stage
Seeking sweet relief on a home improvement project? Look no further than Canada's most talented designers, gardeners, and home improvement specialists on the Home + Garden Stage. Celebrity presenters include HGTV's Carson Arthur, sharing tips for improvement home value and designing low maintenance outdoor spaces; design duo Janette Ewan & Jef Hancock, with quick fixes for updating your home; and local favourite Heather Draper, presenting her signature spin on colour, fabric, and fun - just in time for 2015's home design trends.

This year's design challenge for a cause brings together 20 beneficiaries of Ronald McDonald House® Southern Alberta to draw their dream home, then see it come to life as a birdhouse, thanks to the talents of Calgary's top media and designers. With each "nest" on display and up for silent auction bids at the show, you can walk away with your favourite aviary, with 100% of the funds benefiting Ronald McDonald House® Southern Alberta. revolve furnishings presents a modern 1,000 square foot stunner, with everything from innovative kitchen built-ins to the newest in modern furniture, accessories, and lighting design. DIY lovers rejoice! Freshly grown produce from your own backyard is no longer daunting thanks to green thumbs at Dafoe Design. Joanne Dafoe and her talented team of landscape designers will cover the creative process from the roots up, demonstrating how to create a gorgeous garden with herbs, vegetables, fruits, and flowers alike. Organic lifestyle, here you come.


Terrarium & Miniature Garden Workshops
Got the Alberta winter blues? Bring a little spring into your home with a terrarium or miniature garden. The experts from Blue Grass Garden Centre will be on-site in the Corral, demonstrating how to build your very own indoor garden with compatible plants and materials from start to finish. The NOLA Home Show comes to New Orleans for the very first time at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, January 16-18, 2015.
