The Scoop: Inspired by the famous artisan markets of Europe, Portobello West is Vancouver’s premiere fashion and art market. Created in 2006, this seasonal market provides an exciting atmosphere where shoppers can explore, discover, and support the city’s best creative artisans, designers, and producers all in one place.

Claim to Fame: Portobello West has become a well-known staple in Vancouver’s fashion and art scene so it comes as no surprise that a special pop-up edition will appear at this year’s Vancouver Home + Design Show. With local favourites such as Irit Sorokin Designs, Street Cat Designs, Daub + Design, and African Fair Trade Society offering visitors a chance to snatch up unique pieces of clothing, jewellery, and art, shopping local has never looked so good.
