For the 2016 Indianapolis Home Show, Fischer Homes is again debuting an all-new
home design for this year’s Centerpiece Home: the Allerton. It is built
entirely inside Exposition Hall at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.
What’s this majestic 4,010-square-foot home look like as its
coming together? Check out these photos!
A European Romantic elevation with soaring rooflines and a painted
brick exterior, the Allerton boasts four bedrooms and 3½ baths spread across a
majestic 4,010 square feet. It features an expansive great room and adjoining kitchen,
ground floor study, formal dining room and family gathering room. The second
floor master suite, including spa-like bathroom and large walk-in closet with
adjoining laundry, is accompanied by two child bedrooms, boy and girl, and a
guest room.
“With its eye-pleasing mix of form and function, the Allerton is
sure to inspire Home Show attendees,” said Indianapolis Market President for
Fischer Homes Brad Kriner. “We invite everyone to come to the show and see how
Fischer Homes is working to give people the opportunity to create their dream
home.”

There's still more to explore at the Indianapolis Home Show! The 93rd annual Indianapolis Home Show runs through Sunday, February 1 - don't miss out!
The show boasts a fully-constructed, decorated, and landscaped Centerpiece Home built entirely inside the Expo Hall by Fischer Homes.
The Fischer Homes team unveils a brand-new home design, the Paxton, and it has an East Coast feel with its distinctive combination of materials, interesting angles, and well-placed windows.
The Paxton is the first of its kind to be featured at the Indianapolis Home Show. The home is designed for comfort - each type of living space is on its own floor. The main floor is for entertaining, with an open kitchen and great room, while the owner's retreat is just a few steps away. The additional bedrooms have their own level allowing for more independent living spaces. The home is also built to include a basement for the first time in home show history!
Presented by Home Pro/Bath Pro of Central Indiana, home-design celebrity Ty Pennington appears for one presentation ONLY on Saturday, January 31 at 11am on the Unilock Outdoor Living Stage in the West Pavilion.
"We could not be more thrilled that Ty is coming to Indianapolis for the 2015 Indianapolis Home Show," said Home Show Manager, Laura Groninger. "From TV host and carpenter to his book and charitable work, Ty is certainly a foremost figure in the world of home improvement and design. The Touch of Class team uses soft colors and timeless pieces to create an eclectic vision in the 2015 Indianapolis Home Show Centerpiece Home master bedroom.
For the bed and nightstands, gracefully-shaped architectural forms of Italian, French, and Belgian origin are accentuated by a wire-brushed artisan finished with a reclaimed character.
With an artist's eye, the over-the-nightstand scones skillfully mix modern with rustic, elegant with casual, and romantic with relaxed. It's an eclectic vision that resonates with natural style and a modern new look at how we live today.
Accent chairs next to the fireplace feature the timeless feel of a brushed ikat pattern in soft blues and browns with the aged charm of stripped-down finish layers on the carved arms and front posts.
A wool rug under the bed is a natural undyed handwoven 100% wool rug with mixed tones of cream, taupe, and gray throughout the braids. And a shag rug next to the fireplace sitting area is New Zealand wool at its finest in a plus pile of lush super-soft white wool.

Part of the "Modern Hill-Country" theme, home show attendees will be treated to a romantic feel with very dark walls and a ceiling covered in distressed linen-colored tiles.
For the decor, the design team is using an amazing key chandelier that is imaginative and full of drama. The Irving chandelier features a wrought-iron frame hand-finished in a burnished finish. Cast-zing keys are made to look vintage by way of hand-applied antique wash and are then carefully hung at varying heights from the chandelier.
And there will be no rectangle table when it comes to furniture! The home will have a dramatic 60" round table with natural linen chairs. Plus, a very unique feature to the Centerpiece Home Paxton floor plan from Fischer Homes will be two large built-in cabinets covered in reclaimed wood.

It’s All in the Details

Touch of Class team continues to add the special touches to the interior of the
Centerpiece Home at the 2014 Indianapolis Home Show.
The Centerpiece Home is being constructed by Fischer Homes. Check out the time lapse video of the progress on the Marshall design —
which will have a styled exterior and interior living spaces offering rest and
rejuvenation.
The interior design will show off a “fresh urban”
theme throughout, including vibrant but muted colors, plenty of wood treatments
and a master bedroom designed to be “tranquil and restful.”

Home Building in Progress
It takes more
than just a month to build a home — or does it? You can watch as Fischer Homes
builds the Centerpiece Home for the 2014 Indianapolis Home Show inside another
building — in less than a month!
Fischer Homes will be showcasing its Marshall design with a French Manor elevation. The home is more than 4,100 square feet, excluding the basement. The Marshall being constructed at the Home Show has four bedrooms and three and a half baths located on the main two levels of the home.
Interior designer Joy Perkins from Touch of Class will work with Christine Robbins of the Fischer Homes team in decorating the Centerpiece Home to showcase a variety of options for customizing the home interior. She plans to use a “Fresh Urban” theme throughout the home as well as beadboard and beamed ceilings and chevron hardwood floors.

The Indianapolis Home Show and Fischer Homes recently got a look at what the vision is for the interior design of the Centerpiece Home at the 2013 Indianapolis Home Show.
Joy Perkins from Touch of Class presented her ideas for what her team will be working on inside the Nottoway, the home design with a French Country elevation being constructed by Fischer Homes.
From a two-sided fireplace in the foyer to vintage wine barrels and chestnut leather chairs, Joy plans to create a “Rustic Luxe” theme throughout the home. She will be using weathered woods along with black coffee and natural wood tones with metal accents.
She gave us a view into her vision with presentation boards for both the first and second floors of the Nottoway home. The boards included samples of materials and swatches of colors she plans to use in her designs. Check out Joy’s presentation boards!
